Sandro Salsano is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist. He is a founding partner of Columbus Frontiers, an asset manager focused on Latin American trade, finance, SME financing and real estate. He is also Chairman of the Salsano Family Office and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Salsano Shahani Foundation, which he set up with his wife to improve child education in Panama. Salsano has invested in several emerging and frontier markets. He was a shareholder and partner of an investment bank in the former Soviet Union with a stake owned by Goldman Sachs. Salsano started his career in London with Scottish Widows Investment Partnership. He graduated from Bocconi University in Italy and received an MBA as part of an exchange programme with the University of San Diego, California, as well as participated in the Harvard Business School's executive programme.
